The manually harvested leaves of the certified organic plantations, undergo manual cortex stripping to reduce and control the quantity Aloin present. The pulp is cold processed, with no use of enzymes nor the application of any form of heating, including pasteurisation. The numerous active principles in the plant are gelified and made functional for dermal-cosmetic use.

The use of a properly stabilised and preserved raw material enables the production of this gel for topical use with no addition of further preservatives or any damaging substances.

The most commonly applied gelling processes in the cosmetic sector are based on the use of a substance called carbomer. Its gelling action is activated by the modification of the original pH value of the product to be gelled. ZUCCARI, after a long and thorough research, has perfected a 100% natural gelling methodology to create a product which is potentially edible and whose pH value is the same as the original raw material. The result of this formulation and production technique is 100% pure AloeAurea gel; the sole product on the market which is comparable to the characteristics of the fresh, just-cut leaves of four botanic varieties of Aloe.
- In addition to Aloe vera, contains three other botanical varieties of elevated effectiveness. Some so-called minor Aloe varieties such as, the Aloe arborescens Miller, the ferox and the chinensis, have surprisingly important properties. The reduced content of water in these varieties results in a greater quantity and concentration of active principles than in the simple Aloe vera. The synergic use of these Aloe varieties enriches and increases the Aloe Aurea gel´s effectiveness.
